Refreshing the SkillsEngine aesthetic


Problem

SkillsEngine and its parent entity, C4EO at TSTC, had not updated its brand and product aesthetics in several years. The outdated style was beginning to impact customer value perception and overall user experience.

Summary

Led the comprehensive redesign of SkillsEngine’s brand identity and design system across product, web and marketing. Refreshed aesthetics and underlying design frameworks to align with modern best practices and better reflect the evolved brand, target audience, and product offerings. The project involved creating new brand guidelines, establishing the foundational design system, developing a visual look/feel, and transitioning from Squarespace to Webflow for improved content and UX control.

Outcomes

  • Redesigned the SkillsEngine.com and C4EO.org web, brand, and product style guidelines
  • Developed a flexible and reusable web design system in Webflow, migrating legacy content from Squarespace
  • Onboarded fellow design team members to execute design and content production
